PennyWhistly is built around a single promise: your data is yours. We don't collect it, we don't store it on our servers, and we have nothing to sell.
Everything below explains exactly how that works. The short version: there are no accounts, no servers of ours holding your records, and no trackers watching how you play.
We collect nothing. PennyWhistly has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or location, and we gather no usage analytics or device identifiers. The data you enter — teams, rosters, player names, yellow and red cards, fines, suspensions, custom rules and season history — is created and kept entirely on your own device.
Because we never receive your information, we cannot and do not use it. We do not analyze, profile, advertise against or sell anything you record. Every feature — accumulation tracking, risk flagging, suspension countdowns and the squad dashboard — runs on-device, using only the data you typed in.
All of your discipline records live in local storage on your device. There is no cloud sync, no remote backup and no transmission to PennyWhistly or any third party. Your roster and history never travel across the internet — as private as the notebook in your kit bag, only smarter.
PennyWhistly contains no third-party analytics, no advertising networks, no trackers and no embedded marketing SDKs. We do not integrate services that would observe how you use the app or ship your data elsewhere. What happens in the app stays in the app.
By keeping everything local, PennyWhistly removes the biggest risk to your information: transmission and remote storage. There are no servers of ours to breach and no databases of yours for us to lose. We recommend using your device's passcode or biometric lock for an added layer of protection.
PennyWhistly does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13. Since the app gathers no information at all and requires no account, it is fully compliant with COPPA and similar protections by design. No one — child or adult — is ever profiled or tracked.
You have complete control over your data at all times. Add, edit or delete any team, player or event directly within the app. Because there are no accounts and no backups stored elsewhere, removing your information is simple: deleting the app permanently removes all data associated with it from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements to the app or changes in legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date above. Any changes will continue to honor our core no-collection principle.
